As a mixer, I thrive on the nuance that comes from embracing contrasts – the grit and clarity, the lament and joy, the deconstruction and rebirth. It’s a vibe that seeps into every mix I do. My approach is anything but cookie-cutter. I hold a deep spiritual respect for simplicity, and a collection of tools and lovingly modified gear (yeah, I can be a bit of a gear nerd when the project calls for it).
We are complex beings with a lot to express, so my hybrid workflow is tailored toward nimbly keeping a broad range of sounds and textures at our fingertips. It’s like having a lot of colors at the ready on my painter’s palette - all to reflect the messy, multifaceted nature of life with the most dimension and depth.
